[Encoding dilution]
The first pair of numbers (18) in TPX encoding explanation represents the brightness of a color, whether it is bright or dark The PANTONE system uses 11 to 19 to represent nine levels of brightness This ensures that all values from white to black can be quickly determined
The second pair of numbers (17) indicates the color tone - yellow, red, blue, green, etc. The color tone ring is divided into 64 magnetic regions, with 01 containing yellow green, following the spectrum all the way to the 64 magnetic region containing green yellow. 64 magnetic regions cover all solid colors. 00 represents the center point.
The third pair of numbers (54) describes the chromaticity level of the color. It ranges from neutral 00 to a maximum of 64 colors and is classified into 65 levels.
